My
fellow Lions,
I guess each year at this time the new President of the Lake Lure
Lions Club takes a deep gasp of air and plunges into service knowing
our success depends upon each of you. I believe this can be another
beneficial year where together each Club member willingly undertakes
several service projects and fundraisers so our Club can provide
financial and physical assistance to those in need. However, this
cannot be accomplished unless each of us commits to participating.
Together we can accomplish our goals. Thanks in advance for your
dedication to making a difference and remembering our motto "We
Serve"

Lure Lions will sponsor a Golf Ball Drop on Saturday, November
6th at the Bald Mtn. Driving Range. Time: 3:30 p.m. Balls sell
for $20.00 each. A maximum of 1,000 balls will be sold.
1st prize - $5,000.00
2nd prize - $1,000.00
3rd prize - $500.00
